About Gaurav
Maths tutoring for Primary, Secondary, GCSE, AS and A-Level (or equivalent).
I’m an 18 year old student who has just completed A-Levels in Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science. While currently being predicted to achieve 4 A*s, I am awaiting for my results in August.
With a strong academic background and a good understanding of the A-Level and GCSE syllabus, I offer online tutoring in Maths that’s specific to help you understand difficult concepts, improve problem-solving skills, and boost your grades.

For GCSE and A level, I work closely with the specification so that no time is wasted on things the student doesn't need to know, allowing them to focus on what's relevant to them. By breaking down problems in a simple way, I aim to help students understand how to tackle a range of questions.
For younger years, it's important to build a strong foundation with core mathematical concepts. I focus on making sure students are confident with the basics before moving on to more advanced ideas.
I don’t use overcomplicated worksheets or flashy resources because they often distract from the actual maths. Instead, I use a whiteboard to make questions and explain methods in a simple, step-by-step way. This way, you get focused practice on exactly what you need, with no confusion.

Gaurav tutored me for OCR A-Level Mathematics. He understood the specification very well and therefore could explain things in a way that made sure I understood the content. Even when it took me a few tries to wrap my head around a question, Gaurav would be understanding and continue to aid me, a quality that I believe is crucial for a good tutor. I initially started in a position where I was unable to access even the most basic of questions but through Gaurav's tutoring I began scoring 90%+ (A*'s) consistently in all of my past papers. Across all the tutors that are Gaurav's age, he has to be one of the best as he helped me achieve such great results! Great tutor through and through, highly recommended.

Gaurav has helped me lots with A Level maths and A Level further maths. When doing past papers, I was struggling with some stats and numerical methods questions. I sent them to him, he took everything back to the basics, broke it down, and then it made a lot of sense. I think one of the things that really helped was how he explained things differently from teachers. He can explain things in a way thats easier to understand and more relatable. He doesn’t just tell you what to do, he explains what he’s doing and why.
He gave me some useful tips for doing similar questions in the future, so I went into the exams feeling confident and ready. If you need help with maths, Gaurav is the right person for it!Gaurav is a very bright individual and his knowledge in maths is evident.
