About Amalia
Over time I have taught many age groups. I have worked with GCSE students who have English as a second language to professionals needing their IELTS qualification. I recently helped a qualified nurse from Singapore to gain a grade 7 in her IELTS exam to migrate to Australia. I am now working with a professional in Saudi helping her with Business English.

I have ten years teaching experience in schools & online. I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Photography majoring in journalism & a Level III Cache Assistant Teacher certificate. I teach English lessons and IELTS preparation. I tailor lessons and homework to the individual. My experience includes IELTS for migration and Business English, amongst others.

Perfect! Amalia has taken my wife through tuition for the past 6 months and she has really helped developed her confidence and understanding of the English language in preparation for her IELTS test. Lessons are very well planned and organised and I thank Amalia for all her hard work.
- Manjit has a good start with the English language already, and I am confident with time and effort she will greatly improve her fluency and confidence. She listens carefully and when she hasn't grasped what is being said, she demonstrates patience and further listening with further explanations. She demonstrates her interest in improving, one way she does this is to think through and find a different way to say something if she hasn't made herself understood the first time around. She has a positive and flexible approach to her learning and I think this will stand her in excellent stead for her language targets, IELTS and eventually teaching. Perfect! Amalia is such a great tutor with a wide knowledge of teaching English as a second language. I have asked Amalia in July to help me to get prepared for my IELTS General Examination in October. Even we had limited time before the exam we maximised that in order to get as high scores as possible. With her guidance I managed to progress a whole band score up overall and maximised my points on the individual ranking. I would recommend to give a chance for Amalia for who have failed on the IELTS exam previously, like me, and want to have a better a understanding about the ranking system what they need to achieve to get their desired scores. 'Amalia has over 10 years teaching practice and this is apparent in her delivery.
She prepares well for the tutorial and the lesson is planned according to me needs. The tutorials last an hour but she will often run over the allotted time to ensure I have understood everything. After every lesson I receive an email with a lesson summary and homework.
I like the way Amalia teaches because she is very friendly and makes me feel at ease. Although the learning is serious the tutorials are also fun, which makes learning something to look forward to.
She has helped me greatly with my business English which I have to use in a professional capacity at work but additionally she is also taking me through my IELTS course.
