About Timothy
My name is Timothy, and I offer patient, one-on-one math tutoring for children in grades 1 through 6. My lessons are designed to help students catch up, stay ahead, and feel more confident in class by making math simple, clear, and easy to understand. I graduated from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), and I take a calm, supportive approach that helps students learn at their own pace.
I teach in a patient and encouraging way, and I take the time to understand how each student learns best. I explain concepts step by step, give guided practice, and adjust each lesson to match the student’s needs so they never feel rushed or overwhelmed.

I offer patient, one-on-one math tutoring for children in grades 1 through 6. My lessons are designed to help students catch up, stay ahead, and feel more confident in class by making math simple, clear, and easy to understand.
Teaching approach
I teach in a calm, supportive way and take the time to understand each student’s learning style. I explain concepts step by step, give guided practice, and adjust each lesson to match the student’s pace so they can learn without feeling overwhelmed.
Typical lesson plan
I usually start with a quick review of what the student already knows, then move into the topic they need help with most. I work through examples with them, check for understanding along the way, and end with a short recap to reinforce what was learned.

What sets me apart is my patience, encouragement, and ability to make students feel comfortable asking questions. I focus on building confidence as well as skill, so students not only improve their math ability but also feel better about learning overall.

My lessons are for elementary school students in grades 1 to 6 who need extra help, more practice, or stronger confidence in math. I’m a good fit for students who learn better with a calm, supportive tutor who explains things clearly and works at their pace.
