About Jose
High school graduate with a 4.5 GPA, 1500 SAT, #1 class rank, and 5 on AP Calculus BC, attending Columbia University in the fall. President of the local Math Honor Society with vast experience in tutoring. I have over 50 hours of experience as a math tutor. As a high schooler, I know how students learn math and how to maximize their retention. What better way to learn than with someone who understands how you learn?

I teach my classes based on students’ needs and topics of weakness. Diagrams and real world examples are guaranteed. If needed, I will repeat my explanations infinite times to ensure students understand the lesson. I can also share the shortcuts and mnemonic devices that help me when doing math.
