About Heidi
Hi there!
I'm Heidi and I am from Sydney, Australia.
I am passionate about teaching and would love to teach you English!
I am currently studying Psychology and Spanish at University in Sydney.
I have lived in The Netherlands and volunteered at a retreat centre with people from around the world; demonstrating my open-mindedness and patience to both learn and teach.
I also worked at a migrant resource centre, where my role was to organise events for newly arrived migrants and refugees to find employment in Australia. Therefore, I am able to help with preparing you for looking for work in English speaking languages, specifically in Australia!
Through these experiences, I have learnt to speak clearly and slowly, making it easier for non-English speakers to understand me.
I am also learning Spanish, with my goal to become fluent and live in Latin America, therefore I believe we will share a personal understanding about the hard work and dedication required to learn a new language!

I am passionate about learning and as I am learning Spanish myself, I understand what works and what doesn't work in terms of learning!
First, we will learn what learning style you are (visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic).
Then, we will set learning goals together, both short-term and long-term!
Finally, I will tailor your lessons around your learning style, goals, time frame and reason for learning English.
But most importantly - my philosophy is that learning is fun!
