About Cassidy
Having several years of teaching at the college level under my belt, I believe I am exceptionally professional and organized. I can put together lessons specifically tailored to any student and their unique needs. I do not believe that math is solely about the procedure/steps in solving a problem, but more about learning how to problem solve in a way that works for you. I utilize a lot of questioning techniques to try to lead students towards answering their own questions, rather than telling them outright what the next step is.

I have a unique background as someone who wasn't so great at math in high school, but was able to not only catch up, but excel in mathematics in college, ultimately obtaining a Master's in Math. This background allows me to really understand where students from all backgrounds and ability levels are coming from, and I am able to meet them where they are at. I love working with college students, but am more than happy to work with students from 8th grade and up!
