About Sarah
A Monash alumni who has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil) and Bachelor of Biomedical Science.
I'm currently working as a Graduate Structural Engineer but wanting to continue my passion for teaching maths through tutoring Prep - Year 10 students.
I have tutored Prep - Year 12 students throughout my 6 year university degree as well as 5 years working as a teaching assistant/tutor at Kumon Australia.

Every student is capable of excelling at maths, but in order to do so you need to understand the basics throughly and then build from there! That forms part of my teaching style - always explaining everything back to the point the student understands fully, so that we can build up complexity step-by-step.
I aim to understand how the student best learns, and committed to working through problems as simply or slowly as required (just as others have done for me). Together we learn, we make it enjoyable and most importantly we don't give up!
