About Philippa

I am a friendly, approachable person - I have a very communicative approach, meaning I focus on getting people using the language they want to learn from early on! I try to focus on creating a relaxed, open environment in my lessons, where it's okay to try things, make mistakes and ask questions.
In my lessons you can expect:
- Lots of speaking practice.
- A wide range of activities designed to develop different language skills.
- An individualised approach tailored to your goals!

About the lesson

During my lessons, I like to focus on the communicative aspect of language learning - meaning I like to get my students using their new language from early on. This means lots of speaking and conversation practice, as well as a range of activities to give you the skills to express yourself in a new language!

I worked with Philippa whilst teaching TEFL in Madrid. I recommend Philippa, as she is a friendly and knowledgeable teacher. She is attentive in her teaching, and always ensures that the content of her lessons matches the requirements of the student (whether that is in everyday life or in academia). Further to this, Philippa is not afraid to think outside the box when teaching, always making her lessons fun and enjoyable for every age group.
