About Areeba
I have completed my BSc and MSc at university, and as a recent school leaver I have many tips and learning methods I used to achieve top grades when I was doing my GCSEs (9s in all of the subjects I offer tutoring for). I currently have six years of experience in teaching the national curriculum for England to students in the UK and in British schools abroad. I teach using a range of methods, starting from basic teaching of the content according to the syllabus, then moving onto making revision aids with my students and finally doing some exam practice to prepare them for their final exams. I specialise in AQA Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and Edexcel Mathematics.

My primary aim is to work closely with my students to ensure that my teaching style benefits them. This includes helping them to figure out which learning styles they prefer, while giving regular assessments to gauge how effective they are. My teaching content is mostly in line with the school curriculum and guidance from major exam boards in England, with some extra content for students who I believe would benefit from an extra push. Having said this, I am also open to helping my students with content they are currently learning in school, so we can take a short break from time to time from linear learning if they would like more support with their schoolwork. Lessons typically range from 1-2 hours, depending on the content of my lessons and my students' preferences. I have experience teaching students starting at 6 years of age, however my speciality is working with secondary school students.

Perfect! Only first lesson in but my daughter is already feeling very comfortable with Miss Areeba, very polite, punctual, my daughter struggled in maths in one particular area for 10 months with her teacher and in one lesson feels she's already made excellent progress, communication and understanding is key and Miss Areeba most certainly has both. Will definitely keep these lessons up for my daughter until exams.

Areeba helped my son go from a predicted 5 to a final 8 and 9 in the space of a year for Biology and Chemistry GCSE respectively. She tailored all her lessons to what he was doing in school and honestly explained everything in such a straightforward way but still had patience with subjects he struggled more so with. Would definitely recommend, just a shame she does not do A-Levels at the moment.
She coached me on exam techniques so I could get through objective tests within the time limit & I came away feeling really confident for my exams. Thanks
