About Rachel
I have been teaching secondary maths for over 10 years. I have taught whole classes, small.group interventions and 1 2 1 tutoring sessions. I am passionate about education and I always try to be the maths teacher I never had! Someone who understands that learning is not one size fits all. I will work on not only your maths skills but also your confidence and make you realise that you should not to be scared of numbers, that you can only learn by building resilience and having confidence in ypur ability.
I know the importance of recognising students individuality and will adapt my approach accordingly. I understand that it is important to work at the students pace and will endeavour to make each session purposeful and ensure that success is experienced by the end of each session.
