About Kate
I have experience in tutoring maths and physics at secondary and primary level. As well as this, last Summer I completed a teaching internship in the maths department of a secondary school.
I have taught a primary school student in the past and helped to bring her up to a good level before taking her SATs exams. I have also tutored a GCSE student by helping her with homework and past papers, and she then went on to achieve high grades!
As well as achieving a first in my second year studying maths, I have also done both A level maths, further maths and physics and achieved high grades in all three subjects and would be able to tutor an A Level student in all subjects!

I'm currently in my final year studying mathematics and music at the University of Birmingham.
Having only recently completed my own GCSEs and A Levels, and achieving an A in both A Level Physics and Maths, I am very familiar with the exam format and how to help to students to obtain the best result possible.
As a maths student it upsets me how many people think maths and physics are boring and so I aim to provide lessons to keep students interested and engaged! I am used to tutoring students of all abilites so know the importance of adapting my style to individual students, and providing clear explanations that all students can understand.
