About Jacob
I got a 8 in maths, 7 in chemistry and a 7 in physics GCSE and am currently studying those 3 subjects at The Henley College. I’ve never give a professional lesson however I have given friends and siblings in depth lessons on what they are struggling in to help them catch up in class.

I like to start of with all the basics and fundamentals of what i’m trying to teach, and once they have these down I will move on to the core part of the lesson. I will describe these in as much details as I can whilst providing real life analogies wherever possible. An important part i focus on is not just learning the content, but applying it and knowing why things are what they are, this provides a better understanding of the content and it makes it easier to revisit and remember. I allocate appropriate time for note taking. If the student is struggling on a particular part then I will go over in extra detail and an alternative way to help them get it. Once I have got all the content across then I will finish with questions based on the topic to practise there application.
