About Charles
Maths Phd graduate (University of Warwick/New York University) with a top academic background: 6As at A-level, graduated first in class, Fields Medal winning Phd advisor. In the intervening years I have mainly been working as a programmer, although I have been tutoring alongside this for the last 13 years and have many success stories of pupils I have helped to obtain and exceed the grades they required.

I base my lessons on the student's needs and the optimal way of learning for the student. I quickly try to assess a student's strengths and weaknesses and then we work together to remedy any weaknesses that would impact on a student's ability to achieve their goals as well as improving areas that they are strong to give them the best chance of success possible.
