About Jake
I am currently reading Computer Science at the University of Leeds. My A Levels were Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science and I achieved A*A*A. I achieved a 9 in Maths, Electronics, Physics, Biology, IT, Computer Science at GCSE level.
I have been previously been contracted to create an AI person detection system and a Dynamometer embedded system so have quality real world experience.

I will go through specific material a student finds difficult, explaining them in ways perhaps they have not previously seen. I will provide and use examples to show students how questions should be answered. I can give or set additional work to help a student improve.

Jake’s tutoring in Maths is excellent - he helped me understand areas on the curriculum I had always struggled with. He was fantastic at simplifying complex things such as vectors, something I’d never understood and he explained things in a way that no teacher had.
I’m the younger brother of one of Jake’s friends and I’m in the year below him. Jake often came round to go to the gym with my older brother and whilst they were getting ready he would always help me with my GCSE computing homework. I’ve always liked making games and as my own project I decided to follow some tutorials but I got stuck. Jake pointed me in the right direction until I got back on track. What started as a 5 min chat before the gym became hour long tutor sessions where we would break down and discuss my computing, maths and even physics homework
