About Paul
My name is Paul and I am 25 years old.
I have loved maths ever since I was 4 years old and when I turned 8 I won the school talent show by doing long multiplication in my head. I am passionate about teaching and love seeing that eureka moment in the students head when they finally reach a higher level of understanding.
Outside of maths and teaching I also love reading, music, and rock climbing.

I have a first class honours degree in mathematical science and education.
I believe in a curiosity based approach to teaching where the emphasis is put on why a method works rather than simply learning how it works and blindly following the rules.
I want to show my students that maths doesn’t have to be boring by presenting lessons In interesting and engaging ways.
I have developed multiple approaches to teaching each topic and will find the one that resonates best with your son/daughter to create a comprehensive understanding.
