About Angela
HI! I am a year 13 student, and have been teaching maths for the 11+ for the past 3 years, and am also able to tutor for 11+ English comprehension. I have worked with many different children of several age groups, including at a professional tuition company, so have plenty of experience with how to keep children focussed and learning. I attended a grammar school, and in my GCSEs achieved a 9(A**) in Maths and English language, and an 8(A*) in English literature. On top of that, I hope to be a friendly face to help your child succeed through the gruelling process of the 11+.

I teach based on going through past exam questions from a range of schools, with a range of difficulties, ensuring my pupils become familiar with the formatting of many questions, and also teaching them the techniques (including exam techniques!) they need. I also try to progressively develop an awareness of the time stress that many children struggle with during exams.
