For GCSE students I will run through lessons by having a topic previously agreed to or a past paper. For the specific topic I'll gauge what the student's level is, using a few practice questions, and then run through any formulae that they will need to remember and go through the process step by step to enhance their understanding. I will use exam style questions on each topic once they're confident. Past papers can be timed, or not, dependent on the level of the student's understanding. Sessions will be at least an hour long to allow for proper understanding and good time for questions. I have studied maths all the way up to degree level, including Maths and Further Maths at A level and an Additional Maths qualification at GCSE level. So I have an in-depth knowledge of many topics, and a lot of experience with taking exams so I am aware of how papers will ask their questions. I have done some previous tutoring for fellow students while in sixth form and at university, and since have been tutoring GCSE level too, so have experience working with pupils at all levels and abilities.
