About Based
Outside of teaching, I'm a huge football fan and enjoy keeping active and following the game. My passion for teaching comes from seeing students grow in confidence and achieve things they didn't think were possible. I find it incredibly rewarding to help young people develop their skills, overcome challenges, and realise their potential both in and beyond the classroom.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, with lessons tailored to each individual's strengths, areas for improvement, and learning style. I begin by identifying any knowledge gaps before explaining concepts clearly using step-by-step methods and worked examples. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and build confidence through regular practice and exam-style questions.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Each lesson includes a recap of previous learning, teaching of new content, guided practice, and independent questions to reinforce understanding.
I am a Mathematics graduate currently completing my PGCE in Secondary Mathematics and teaching in a secondary school. I also have previous tutoring experience with MyTutor, supporting students to improve their confidence, mathematical understanding, and exam performance.
I offer tuition for Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level Mathematics, adapting my teaching to suit each student's age, ability, and academic goals.
