About Emily
As an education major in Syracuse University, I'm well educated in the pedagogies necessary to teach. I recently finished my first year, and so I'm still quite familiar with the current curriculums in schools. I'm responsible, easy-going, and hard-working. In terms of experience, last year I tutored middle school levels of math, however I'm well equipped to teach high school levels as well. I also completed fieldwork throughout my second semester at SU, and so I have experience working with high school students.

I'm able to teach students in subjects such as Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus, as well as Elementary and Middle School Math. The first lesson is free, and afterwards my rate is $25/hr. For the first meeting I like to engage with the student to see what exactly they're struggling with, so that I can create a lesson plan that focuses on guiding them through what challenges they may have. I look forward to working with anyone who's interested!
