About Arturo
Hi my name is art and I got my bachelor’s in math from California State University of Monterey Bay and my master’s degree in math at California State University of San Jose. In 2008, I began tutoring while an under grade and started teaching right after receiving my master’s degree in 2b016. I really enjoy teaching and tutoring math and firmly believe learning should be fun and a little light hearted. Note my rates start at $25 per hour but may increase depending on your needs and location.

From my over 8 years experience teaching and tutoring math, there is no magic formula or secret to learning math. It just takes a little time, focus and determination to understand what’s going on. Further, once a student understands what’s going on, it just takes a bit of practice to master a topic or idea. My tutoring style is easy going, offering help understanding, practicing problems and preparing for exams and exploring related ideas.
