About Keihaneh
I am an embedded tutor in Santa Monica College, where I have been teaching Algebra (beginning, intermediate, and College Level), Pre Calculus, Introductory Statistics. Before that I was a Math (and physics) Teacher for 23 years, and I have also been a a school private tutor in Math. While I was teaching at a school, every semester I had 150 - 200 students in my classes, Many of whom where admitted in top universities and went on to have successful careers. I have a Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering from Tennessee Tech University.

I approach my teaching sessions by preparing a plan before hand to make my lesson more organized. Based on my thirty one year teaching experience, I believe that having a plan make the lesson much more efficient. I also adjust my lessons based on the students' needs. I am very patient, a good listener, and friendly, and can form an effective communication channel teaching that makes an enjoyable teaching session.
