About Shane
I am a double major in my third year at Andrews University studying math and physics. In high school, I received multiple awards for my excellence in the math and science programs. I have continued to receive awards in college as well. I have taken courses in areas such as Calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, quantum mechanics, classical mechanics, and solid-state physics.

I have always believed in a rigorous curriculum with a gentle push as a teacher. I enjoy sticking with students on a single problem, idea, or topic until they are self sustainable in this area. Practice makes perfect and I will recommend extend study and practice problems. Time and repetition is key to engraining information in our minds. My goal is for students to send me their problems and concerns and I will carefully review them before presenting and reaching out to the student with a specific plan that works for the individual student and problem. I will be teaching subjects from elementary math through college precalculus.
