I have a decade of teaching 8-12 grades, 3 years of college-level math instruction, and I have taught developmental math at the college level also. In all I've taught over 1700 students, and helped to graduate 1141 students from both high and college!

I have been told that I have a knack for explaining things in an unconventional way! With the right attitude and teamwork, my tutorials will take you from "I never..." to "I can!" I understand both struggling learners and those who grasp the content quickly and can adapt any materials to your specific needs. I have a Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction for Mathematics Education. I taught all levels of Algebra from Algebra I to College Algebra, as well as Geometry and Trig.

Details
Preferred method of tutorials is via webcam, secondary is in my home (starting in June/July). Travel to tutorials is available* this summer for pre-screened, recommended, or accommodated clientele only.
*Travel requirements over 15 miles to your home, will have rate increases of $1-$1.50 per mile depending on the time of day traveled. Peak hours, 4-7pm, will see an increase of $2.00 per mile.
**The scaled rate discount amount will vary depending on the method of tutorial delivery. Usually per lesson amount -$5, therefore, if $30, then $25..., if $35, the $30..., if $40, then $35 and so on.
