About Andre
I graduated with a Masters in Applied Mathematics August 2020, and I have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in during my Masters. My experience is primarily one-on-one assistance in a drop-in tutoring center, but if there is a clear teaching plan, then multiple students should not be too big of a problem.

My teaching methodology is centered around the student. A student requests assistance on a subject, and I answer their questions to the best of my ability. A student-centered teaching style gives students flexibility (students may learn at their own pace) and hopefully makes the lessons more lively.
One thing that I try to do is to talk about my weaknesses. By talking about weaknesses, I emphasize to the students that I am also human rather than a know-all machine, which would hopefully result in more casual lessons. Learning does not have to be a painful process.
