About Igor
I am currently a Masters of Pharmaceutical Sciences student at the University; studying in a top 8 worldwide and a top 4 in the UK school of pharmacy. I used to swim at a national level and currently play basketball at a national and collegiate level, so I understand the difficulties in balancing academics with other important aspects of life such as sporting and social. Furthermore I am fluent in 4 languages (English, Russian, Mandarin and Spanish) which has given me different kinds of problem-solving angles and learning strategies that I apply to my learning and look to pass on to my students.

I teach students how to achieve higher grades by examining their techniques and understanding. The majority of students have the knowledge but lack the strategies, understanding and relationship to the subject that hold them back from achieving the grades that they deserve. These strategies helped me go from a 4 (fail) in year 9 biology to a 9 (A*) at GCSE.
