About Axel

I have an undergraduate degree from a T-30 school, McGill University, where I studied Honors finance and economics. I have worked internships in “Quant Trading” at Hedge Funds and look to completing my Masters and return to the sector full time. My love for math is due to its real world implications in finding patterns and solving solutions.

About the lesson

I prioritize deep understanding over rote memorization. I love using visuals and real-world examples to make concepts clear and engaging. My approach focuses on guiding students to uncover the underlying principles of problems, fostering both problem-solving skills and confidence. I enjoy the challenge of breaking down complex problems into manageable steps, ensuring students not only succeed but also develop a lasting appreciation for mathematics.
