About Sophie

I am currently undertaking a master's in Health and International Development, with a strong background in Economics and Maths. I began tutoring during my undergraduate degree, and have seen over 50 students through their Maths and Economics exams! I thoroughly enjoy helping my students reach their goals and watching them progress.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring in mathematics and economics focuses on fostering a deep understanding of concepts through interactive and practical applications. I utilise a variety of techniques, such as problem-solving exercises, real-world case studies, and visual aids, to make complex topics more accessible. Each lesson typically lasts about an hour, providing enough time for thorough exploration and practice. With several years of experience tutoring students from middle school to college level, I hold a degree in economics and mathematics. My lessons are designed for a wide range of learners, from those needing foundational support to advanced students looking to excel in their studies.
