I have over 5 years of experience tutoring students.
I have worked preparing students for:

-Mathematical Olympiads

During my undergraduate college years I worked almost all the time as a teaching assistant in the class of Differential Equations.
I am a Master of Science student in Applied and Computational Mathematics at the University of Washington.

First of all I like to have the big picture of the student, to understand the person and get to know where we are in terms of knowledge and goals, in order to make a tailored study plan which will help you reach your objectives.
During my classes I like to explain why the things we learn are important, and use real life examples/metaphors.
I like to first give theoretical explanations of the concepts and then apply what we learned working through problems.
I believe one of the key aspects in mathematics is to have fun and feel comfortable with it, so I try to apply that in my lessons.
I teach all types of high school math and university undergraduate level courses, including precalculus, calculus, linear algebra, multivariate calculus, complex variables, probability.
I also like to teach the basics of coding and data science.
Expect a respecful learning environment, I am a very patience person, so I will repeat or go back to concepts previously seen as many times as necessary. I will not judge you for not knowing things, we all are learning and have had different learning experiences. I am here to help you :)
