About Sid
Hello there students ! I am a Master of Engineering graduate from the University of Toronto. I did my masters in electrical & computer science engineering. I did my bachelor of engineering in electronics & communication engineering. I also worked as a project engineer in the telecommunication in a large conglomerate for 3 years.
For me, teaching is a passion that has grown over time. I am currently a student mentor at an educational consultant startup as well, so I have great interpersonal skills. I can assure any student of mine that they will leave my class with knowledge and a happy smile on their faces ! Any tough topic, I dive deeper and deeper until my student feels confident that he/she/they have now gotten hold of the subject ! Knowledge is power, and I want to share it with everyone !

How does one understand what multiplication really is ? Is it just memorizing the tables and hoping some new numbers do not show up ? How does one grasp the concept of Newtons laws ? Is it just a formula F = ma ? Absolutely not !
When you learn with me, you will understand the practical significance of multiplication or gravity. It's not just about formulae or numbers, it's about understanding why and how these phenomenon occur.
In a typical lesson, I start by explaining the concept in question - first theoretically, then visualizing the problem. If I were to explain what a limiting reagent is for instance, id say when you go out with your friends for a pizza, everyone only leaves when the last person is done. So this person becomes the "limiting reagent" in a chemical reaction! I believe this truly helps the student solidify their understanding of concepts.
My kind demeanour and patience is what sets me apart as a tutor. I do not give up on any student, and I love the idea of shaping the future of our world ! Teaching brings me great joy and I do it with utmost sincerity and dedication.
My lessons would be for middle to high school students.
