About Tracee
I raised two gifted children, partially homeschooling them, and for close to 30 years I have tutored my nephews and their friends, as well as the children for whom I have been a nanny. I make sure that learning is fun but effective. Math is my favorite subject to tutor, often using fun manipulatives as visuals (and what child doesn't want to do math with gummy bears?!) I get excited to make the work fun. I have a passion for grammar and the English language so I am also available to tutor in those areas and spelling is also one of my favorites to teach, making it as fun as possible especially for kinesthetic learners. I prefer to incorporate multiple learning styles into each lesson to make the most of the learning opportunity.

Hands-on learning with time-tested techniques is both fun and effective and takes the work out of homework. It has to get done – why not make it fun!? I use different methods depending on each child's learning style and interests. When the activities aremulti sensory, the learning is more fun and the information sticks.
