I live in Kent, in the UK, and I will be starting an undergraduate degree in History at Cambridge University in September. I have A Levels in History, English, Spanish and Politics, as well as 11 A*s in my GCSEs. I am confident and bubbly, and committed to helping my tutees progress. Students have described me as "down-to-earth" and I seek to build up comfortable relationships with my tutees, as I believe that communication is crucial.
I have about 50 hours of online tutoring experience. At the moment, I teach a variety of subjects, including Maths KS3 and GCSE, SATs and Spanish. I am willing to teach most core subjects up to GCSE level, as well as History, Politics, English and Spanish up to A Level. I am proficient in Spanish and hope to reach fluency by the end of this year.
I also have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification which helped me to develop skills such as how to engage with younger learners. Having taken the 11+ myself, I also feel confident in tutoring children through this.
Overall, I would describe myself as committed and diligent, as demonstrated by my strong academic record. I am a good listener, a good communicator and I have plenty of patience.
