About Yasmina
Hi! I'm Yasmina :)
If you've ever looked at a math problem and thought, "When am I ever going to use this???”, you're definitely not alone.
I get how frustrating it can be when something just isn't clicking - only to have it finally make perfect sense later on !
My goal is to help you understand concepts in a way that actually makes sense while building your confidence along the way.
My sessions are relaxed, interactive, and often filled with humor because learning is a lot easier when you're having fun. We'll celebrate your wins, tackle challenges together, and find creative ways to approach tricky problems. At the same time, I'll help you stay focused, build good habits, and gain the confidence to solve problems on your own.
We'll work together as a team to get you there !

Hello! My name is Yasmina, and I am an educator with Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Fine Arts. I have several years of experience working with children and adolescents in schools, behavioral programs, and child psychiatry settings.
I offer tutoring and academic support for students in Grades 1–11 in:
• French
• English
• Math
• Science
• History
• Homework support and study skills
My lessons are personalized to each student's needs, learning style, strengths, and academic goals. I believe that every child can succeed when they feel supported, understood, and confident in their abilities.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous material, identifying areas of difficulty, and setting clear goals for the session. I then break down concepts into manageable steps, use visual and interactive teaching strategies, and provide guided practice to ensure understanding. I end each session with a review of key concepts and recommendations for continued progress.
