A highly qualified teacher, bilingual, having lived in the States for eight years, I provide English classes all over Paris and its nearby western suburb. When I first meet a student, I tell him or her that I'm not here to judge or despair them but to foster their apprehension of their target language. We start with a conversation to enhance their vocabulary, improve their accent, their sentences structure etc... Then, we may have a look at a new grammar point and secure its understanding with a short set of customized and creative exercises. Then, we may eventually close the class with a game, the depiction/comment of a painting, the listening/translation of a song etc... My approach, which stems from my students' main interests, has been particularly successful and has reconciled many students with English. And when one of them tells me that he can watch CNN, it makes my day!
I also teach via Skype, msn, phone, walkie-talkie, telephathy, anything goes!

Patrick est super professeur d'anglais ! Il m'a fait progresser énormément, pour restituer mon niveau d'avant j'avais environ 450, 500 au TOEIC et 7,8 mois après j'ai réussi à obtenir 880. Au début je pensais prendre des cours que pour une année mais au final j'ai décidé de continuer car les cours sont vraiment intéressants. Pendant ses cours nous échangeons sur différents sujets et ensuite nous travaillons sur la grammaire/conjugaison dont j'ai spécialement besoin de travailler. Après chaque cours, il m'envoie un class recap avec tout le nouveau vocabulaire que nous avons pu rencontrer lors du précédent cours. Très professionnel et très sympa ! What else ?
J'ai suivi une vingtaine d'heures de cours par téléphone avec Patrick. Son dynamisme et son enthousiasme ont effacé le côté laborieux des leçons d'anglais pour le remplacer par une discussion amicale tout en progressant en grammaire et en vocabulaire. Patrick a su totalement s'adapter à ma thématique de travail. Il peut également revenir sur certains points de grammaire autant de fois que nécessaire et toujours dans la bonne humeur.
Si vous avez un blocage avec l'anglais ou tout simplement envie de progresser, Patrick est la personne qu'il vous faut. Ses cours sont personnalisés, adaptés à votre niveau et vos besoins.Tous les aspects de la langue sont abordés: grammaire, prononciation, compréhension, écoute etc...Les supports sont variés et toujours en rapport avec vos centres d'intérêts. Très vite vous oubliez que vous êtes en cours et vous vous retrouvez à converser avec un vieil ami. Je recommande sincèrement Patrick pour ses compétences, son sérieux et sa gentillesse.
A la base, mon niveau d'anglais était plutôt bon.
Mais comme beaucoup de gens, le manque de pratique se fait sentir le jour où on
a besoin de tenir une conversation professionnelle en anglais.
J'ai donc rencontré Patrick, il a été un professeur d'anglais très à l'écoute
qui a su s'adapter à mes attentes.
Son approche pédagogique m'a réconciliée avec l'enseignement.
Après avoir évalué mon niveau d'anglais oral, il a su me proposer des cours adaptés
à mon environnement professionnel.
Et très vite mes lacunes en vocabulaire ont été comblées...
Bref, j'ai adoré suivre des cours d'anglais avec lui, ces heures étaient
