About Maximiliane
Hi, I’m Maxi. I’m originally from Germany, but I’ve made my home in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. My roots run deep in hospitality — my family has been in the industry since 1909, and that spirit of care, warmth, and service lives on through me. Over the years, I’ve worked as a qualified chef, a private concierge, a lifestyle manager, and I offer conversational German lessons — because I truly love helping people feel more confident in themselves and in the world. My business, I Assist You, is all about supporting people with heart: from managing luxury homes and relocations, to organizing unique travel and wellness experiences, to simply being a trusted point of contact when life gets overwhelming. I work mostly with international guests, families, and individuals who value quality, privacy, and human connection. Right now, I’m also finding my voice as a teacher. Helping someone feel safe and capable while learning a new language is something I find deeply rewarding. Whether you're learning German or navigating a life transition, I’m here to guide you — gently, honestly, and with care. I’m also a mother, a nature lover, and someone who’s not afraid to stand up for what’s right — even when it’s hard.
