About Alexander

I am an experienced teacher of English as a foreign language with a PhD in English Language and Literature. I have taught English to people of various nationalities for 9 years, at school and university and as a private tutor. I have helped students to improve confidence in speaking and writing, assisted in exam preparation e.g. IELTS, CPE, and with job applications etc. I am an accomplished writer and proof-reader, and I also teach Academic Writing and essay structure.

About the lesson

I enjoy teaching motivated individuals who want to improve their English for various reasons. I am a patient and empathetic teacher, a strong linguist and a good communicator. I teach classes that are suited to the student's needs, ranging from exam preparation to communicative learning.
