About Jason
Students I have taught from 11+ to GCSE students feel much more confident about the subject and on average jump at least two grades. My A level Physics and Maths students have all gone on to study at Russell Group Universities. My most recent students gained A* grades at A level and 9’s at GCSEs. Having had a 20+ year professional career in the space industry (including European Space Agency) and hard-technology sector, I have been able to bring real-life context into what is being studied. Inspiring my students, and getting them excited about the topics they are covering. I enjoy giving career advice. Subjects: Maths, Physics, Triple Science Levels: 11+, 13+, GCSE/IGCSE, A-level I am a part-time private tutor with over 10 years' experience, holding a PhD and BEng (Hons) in Engineering from Imperial College London, and MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Cranfield University. My students have come from independent schools (St Paul's Boys, Hampton School, Dulwich College, Epsom College, etc) and from the state sector (Sutton Grammar, Wilson's, Tiffin, etc) with excellent outcomes. I support students both in person and online. FAQs: What’s in the 1st lesson? I will assess student level, motivation, and rapport. If there is no benefit to the student, then it makes no sense to continue. Do you give feedback to parents? Absolutely! Which subject(s) do you teach? Maths, physics, triple sciences. When are you available? I currently only have week evenings and Sunday. Which ages and levels do you teach? 10-18. Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? GCSE, A/S-level, A-level, IB, School entrance exams and SATs How do you deliver online tutoring? I deliver via Google tools. I use Google Drive and Docs to share files.
