About Madison
I am a motivated and responsible student with a strong interest in math and helping others learn. I am known for being patient, approachable, and reliable, which allows me to build positive relationships with the students I work with.
I enjoy working with younger students and supporting them as they grow in confidence and ability. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I take the time to explain things clearly and in a way that makes sense to each individual.
Through tutoring a Year 4 student and regularly helping my sibling with their schoolwork, I have developed the ability to communicate effectively and adapt my explanations to suit different learning styles. I find it rewarding to see students improve and feel more confident in their abilities.
I take pride in being organized, punctual, and committed to providing a positive and professional learning experience for every student.

My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style. I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and building their skills at their own pace.
When teaching maths, I focus on breaking concepts down into simple, clear steps and using relatable, real-life examples to make learning easier to understand. I also use practice questions and interactive activities to reinforce learning, and I encourage students to explain their thinking so I can ensure they fully understand the concept.
Lesson lengths are flexible and can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs, typically ranging from 30 to 60 minutes to maintain focus while still covering key content effectively.
I have experience tutoring a Year 4 student, as well as regularly helping my sibling with their learning. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain concepts in a way that is easy for younger students to understand.
My lessons are best suited for primary school students (Years 1–8) who may need extra support, want to build confidence in maths, or are looking to strengthen their understanding of key concepts.
