About Lisa
My name is Lisa and I am a high school student at the lycée in Nantes. Daughter of a diplomat, I lived 4 years in Chicago in the United States as well as three years in Shanghai in China. So I studied in international schools where teaching was done in English. I am as comfortable in French as in English. With the project of studying abroad, I prepared the Cambridge Proficiency Exam, which I took in November 2019. My obtaining of this exam certifies that I have a level C2 in English. I therefore wish to use my mastery of this language to help others.

I approach my subject freely, adapting to the personality and needs of the student. I prefer a cultural and more playful approach, I find that it allows a faster progression and also allows the student to take pleasure in language lessons. I do this by studying songs, watching youtube videos, or passages from movies / TV series. However, if necessary, I can approach the subject in a more academic way, and I then offer summary sheets and exercises when it comes to grammar concepts.
