I'm a secondary school leaver and I've received an offer to study medicine at the University of Leicester! I am really passionate about making learning a fun and rewarding experience! Who says that lessons have to be boring? Not me! I want to teach you the complicated things in a way that you'll remember them even without hours and hours of revision.
On our first call, I want to know all about you! What do you struggle with? What are you really good at?
That way, I can make a personalized lesson plan for you, and we can address the problem areas in more detail and consolidate the areas in which you already feel confident!
In an average lesson, I'll first start off by introducing the topic and explaining the main concepts within it through whiteboard presentations.
I like to engage throughout the lesson, and will regularly ask you if there is anything you find difficult or if there is anything that you'd like to explore in more detail.
After you feel more confident, we can move onto some exam questions which I will pick out based on their difficulty levels, first starting with the easier ones then moving onto some harder questions.
I will provide a summary at the end of each lesson and we can discuss at the end how you feel about the topic and whether you want to go through it the next lesson or move on.
I like to take things at a medium pace, I'd prefer that you go over it properly and feel comfortable rather than rushing through it, so don't worry about taking too long, that's what I'm here for!
