About Filomena
I am Filomena Botwin, a senior pre-veterinary biology student at the University of Central Florida. I am highly organized and detail-oriented. I have done tutoring work throughout my high school and early college years. As a creative problem solver I have helped multiple students with varying learning styles increase their overall GPA and gain confidence in their knowledge.

In my tutoring sessions, I aim for the student to not only get the question right but to understand the steps taken to achieve that answer. As someone who has grown up using tutoring resources, I have perfected an optimal way to conduct my tutoring sessions. My typical lesson plan will include questions given by the student and visual/workbook components from my own research. I offer lessons in math, science and writing for middle school students up to some college classes.
