Having just completed my PGCE I have some of the most up-to-date training in teaching. I absolutely love learning and teaching maths and aim to help you love it too. I also now have over three years of experience with online tuition under my belt and am keen to continue getting more!

As your tutor we will begin with a short assessment to find which areas you need most help with. Then we will go through the basics of the topic to help solidify your understanding of why and how the methods that I’ll be teaching work. Followed by lots of practice to help you become confident and fluent before moving on to the next topic. If you already have a particular topic in mind, we will begin working on that in the first session and can assess other areas later. We’ll revisit each topic with a few questions every few weeks to help with retrieval and long-term memory to best prepare you for your exams. I can adapt for any exam board or curriculum if given enough notice. I am usually able to find a slot for new students within one working week from the initial enquiry and find that meeting once or twice a week works best. I hope to hear from you soon! :))

Elizabeth tutored me in year 11 for Maths. She started off assessing my level and we worked through topics I was unsure of. Each week Elizabeth planned the lesson and set homework questions which we went through the following week. She was easy to talk to and explained things in a way I understood.
