About Daniel
Fundamentally I am a person who is curious. I want to understand how and why things work, not just accept things as they are being taught to me. I think this aspect of my character has been integral to my growth in maths as my desire to learn has meant I can grow my understanding of the subject matter. I have also found that I really enjoy helping other people grow. I have commonly helped people around me get to grips with maths and other subjects, and I have enjoyed seeing their progression.

In my lessons I want to make my students fully comprehend how maths works, so they gain a cohesive understanding of the subject matter, which will always mean they can become adept at applying it in a multitude of different situations. This skill is vital for exams as students need to be able to use their prior knowledge in different contexts that they have never seen before.

Daniel has helped me out consistently through my A level Maths course, and always has a very clear and logical way of explaining concepts. Thanks to his help, I was able to go from a D at the start of year 12 to A grades at the end. I reccomend him greatly!
He explains things in such a great way where it’s really easy to understand, even when it’s a difficult topic. Also he’s really smart in general, so chances are if you’re struggling with something, he’ll know how to help out.
He is extremely patient and is great with words and instructions he was able to explain things well and carefully and in a way that didn’t insult my intelligence. He is an excellent tutor I highly recommend him.
