About Mazen
Hello! My name is Mazen, and I have graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Biological Sciences (with the highest achievable GPA in the USA: 4.0, the equivalent of a 7.0 GPA in Australia). I will be starting medical school for Griffith in January 2025 after getting accepted into multiple medical schools, such as UQ, Griffith, UWA, and more. I have tutored university students during my 4 years at the University of Arizona, where I worked alongside university professors to ensure that the students are understanding the material clearly. I finished my Year 12 with 100's in all the classes at my school. I love teaching the main science subjects since they are the ones most relevant to my major, and they are also the ones that I'll be able to explain in the best possible way. I teach all grades for science, biology, chemistry, and physics. As for math, I teach all grades up to year 10. I have a great way of understanding academic material that helps simplify complex ideas. In addition, I focus more on how to get to the idea, rather than just stating it. As a student in the field of medicine, I know how hard it can be to have a lot of content that you need to work through and understand. I was able to do well because I adopted a certain mindset of getting to the idea, rather than just knowing it. I can also show you how to think in that way when we work on the lessons together. That way, you'll be analyzing and thinking about the information, which will give you a much deeper understanding of the content.
