I am a dedicated math tutor with strong experience in helping students master problem-solving across algebra, geometry, calculus, and beyond. I specialize in breaking down difficult concepts into simple, logical steps that make math more approachable. My teaching style emphasizes practice, clarity, and building confidence through active problem-solving. Having worked through the same challenges myself, I understand where students get stuck and how to guide them through it. My goal is to support students with patience, professionalism, and strategies that lead to lasting success in math.

About the lesson

I focus on active learning such as asking guiding questions, encouraging students to explain concepts back to me, and breaking down complex topics into simple, step-by-step logic. I incorporate visual aids, mnemonics, and analogies to help make abstract concepts more memorable. I will start off with a warm up with a simple question to start off, and cover the main topic and end with another simple question from the topic learned that day. I am a recent graduate who has gone through the exact coursework and clinical challenges my students are facing now — so I understand both the academic and practical struggles. I focus heavily on confidence-building and I bring a student-centered perspective.
