About Curtis
I graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Physiology, and Bioethics, I have been teaching in some form or another since I was 15 all throughout my own academic career, and I have not looked back. In working with thousands of students of all ages in a wide variety of subjects, environments, and curriculums, I have come to believe every student can succeed. I'm an energetic speaker, a passionate learner, and (hopefully) your ticket to success.

I like to connect with my students and really let the learners direct the learning. I believe that a rigid approach to education tends to leave even bright and capable students behind sometimes, and that success is often a matter of finding a new perspective. I keep my classes positive and energetic, where my passion for what I teach can hopefully rub off on my students. My passion is in creating "Eureka" moments, injecting all the excitement of a major discovery into the underappreciated small victories of learning a subject.
