About John
I have assisted in the teaching of many students from all walks of life for 8 years now and decided to turn something I love into a career. I have tutored too many students to count, but if I had to put a number on it, I would say about 30, five of them suffering from autism. I have had great results in keeping attention due to my odd but effective use of minecraft (a popular video game) in my teachings and can assure you that this method stick with you or your child. I have never had a student fail at a subject he or she was trying to learn, and I believe anyone can learn anything, regardless of past test scores or disability.

Hello, I'm a student in Video Game Art and Development. I needed a little extra cash and tutoring seemed like a great way to do that. I have an upbeat attitude about teaching and I try to make things as fun as possible to make things stick with you the first time, rather than learning through repetition. I'm great with kids, and have ways of teaching that make the learning process seem more like playing games, less like sitting in a class, which doesn't work for everybody. My pay rate is flexible, and I can accommodate my teaching methods to match any sort of student. I also have a great deal of experience working with special needs children and adults.
