About Ruby
Hello, my name is Ruby Lucero. I have been teaching for over 10 years, six of which have been as a classroom teacher. I have a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education. I am a certified Mathematics Educator in grades 7-12 in the State of Texas, and I also hold my TESOL certification. I am fluent in Spanish and can translate during my lesson if necessary.

I know many students struggle with Math, but that does not mean they are BAD at Math, it is simply that they have not found the WAY that works for them. I know every student has the potential to learn/master a topic so long as they have a great mentor/teacher to guide them. Along the years I've gotten many "I finally get it" and "your explanation makes it so much easier". I am willing to break down the problem and make sure your son/daughter is able to understand and finally solve math problems on their own without that headache that some people get as soon as they see numbers and letters.
