About Brendon
I am a teacher in my early 30s who has been teaching full time over the last 2 years after finishing my PGCE. I decided to begin teaching due to enjoyment I felt with helping others to learn new skills over my different careers. I feel that teaching is incredibly rewarding when you can see that 'light bulb moment' appear in a students head once they begin to understand a concept that they previously found difficult. Apart from teaching I enjoy travelling and have visited many countries over the past few years such as Canada, Norway, Greece and Switzerland.

I am a fully qualified teacher attaining a PGCE with a Mathematics Specialism.
I am confident in teaching for Maths Mastery across the Primary age groups (5-11) enabling my students to not only be fluent in arithmetic but to also reason and problem solve.
My lessons vary between 1 hour and 1.5 hours dependant on the individual pupils ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
During an initial call I will gauge the pupils current attainment and take a differentiated approach to them to ensure that they can access the learning and then accelerate in their learning.
