About Ella

Hello! I'm a native English speaker from London with a degree in English Literature and French, meaning I provide an in-depth focus on sophisticated English, helping you enlarge your vocabulary and nuance of expression, whatever your level.

I have two years' teaching experience, working with learners of all ages and levels. I adapt my lessons to each individual pupil, catering for every learner's level and unique requirements.

As a language learner myself, I am passionate about the transformative power of conversation to boost confidence, vocabulary and make the learning journey as enjoyable as possible.

I create a supportive, learner-centred environment for students to feel comfortable making mistakes and taking risks. So let's have fun together as you improve your English!

About the lesson

My lessons favour an informal approach with a focus on natural English, giving learners an authentic experience of the language. Sessions are fun, engaging and relaxed.

Lessons are tailored to your needs so we can work towards your goals together. I will be guided by your strengths, weaknesses and preferences to create effective lessons and a strong working relationship.

Depending on your requirements, lessons include:
- Listening and speaking
- Diverse topics/vocabulary
- Cultural exchange
- Work prep (presentations, interviews)
- Immersive interactive approach
