About Kevin
I'm a Japanase-born French/Scottish bilingual head waiter, recently TEFL certified, living in Glasgow. I was raised in Toulouse, France for 17 years, and I have been living in Scotland for the past 8 years. Prior to being certified, I regularly gave English or French lessons to some friends, on and off. One of my friends learned enough from me to go to America and find a job there.

I'm a diligent teacher and a stickler for the PPP (Presentation, Practice and Production) method. However, whenever required, I know when and how to deviate from the method's course, in particular for students who are struggling with the lesson. I know the frustration, from personal and professional experience, that comes from struggling to learn a new language. Which is why I do my utmost to make sure my students don't experience that same frustration. Also, whenever necessary, I know how to refer to other languages I'm familiar with or fluent in (French, Spanish or Japanese) if I feel it could help the students understand better.
